Favorite Wine: V d'or

I visited this winery many years ago, and I'm glad to say that it has improved. They are committed to correct viticulture in the state, planting and growing what works the best their. I am a little ashamed that I didn't buy a bottle of their Norton, but I'm committed to buying what I consider the winery's best. I am not a huge fan of Dessert wines, but their V d'or was absolutely wonderful - double gold medals at the Finger Lakes contest.

Favorite Wine: Jeremiah and Lexington and Concord

Easy to find. Nice select of Red and Whites. Really enjoyed my visit nice seating area to drink a glass. I thought it was just a lovely place to visit. The hostess was great she explained all the flavors and aromas (Being a newcomer to wineries) learned so much. Thank you Rockbridge Vineyard Will visit again soon

Norton Wine Review: This is a very easy to access winery along I-81. We were pleased with the offerings both red and white and obvious care that went into the productions. The Norton wine we purchased here in 2008 was nice when we picked it up and in two years has appreciably improved in bottle. This Norton was one of the better finds in 2008 and it will be fun to see how this and other Virginia Norton wine producers have improved with the advent of our next trip north.
