Favorite Wine: 2005 founders chardonnay

Loved the chardonnay, and the "drink naked" t-shirts (as gifts of course!). Staff was very friendly and knowledge.

Favorite Wine: chardonnay

One of my favorite wineries in VA... consistently good wines across the board, a beautiful location and a nice relaxed atmosphere where they don't take themselves too seriously. The winery is up for sale, though -- it will be interesting to see what changes in the next few years.

We've visited off & on for well over a decade. There are some winners and some clinkers, but the Chardonnays are in the "winner" category pretty consistently. Lovely setting, friendly staff.

Just visited here today, fog lifted for our ride out. Absolutely beautiful! Very friendly people and cool atmosphere. He shared some of his knowledge of wine grapes with us. Wines were awesome.

Favorite Wine: 2004 Chardonnay

I decided to go here on a recommendation of a friend, "have to try the chardonnay." I did and a few others. Very nice wines and knowledgeable staff. Quaint, rustic setting with beautiful dogwoods in bloom. Potential for a magnificent view if not for the fog.

Favorite Wine: Cabernet Franc 2004

Went here after a not-so-impressive visit to the Chateau O Brien. The Harpers showed more hospitality and allowed our party to relax and unwind in a comfortable setting. The mountainside location helps too.
