Red Barn Winery and Vineyards

Very disappointed here! We traveled about 125 miles out of our way to visit this winery (wanted to get the last visit of a wine trail started earlier). We decided we had the time to go off schedule and do this - and am now sorry I did. we arrived at about 3:30 in the afternoon, and stood outside shooting some photo's before entering the building. Upon entering we noticed that no one was around, yet there were 2 phones and a laptop on the counter. we waited about 10 minutes - and figuring the counter person was busy in the processing room, we opened the door and looked around - no one there. My wife then tried to use her cell to call and see if maybe someone was elsewhere on the farm - no service! O.k. - we waited 5 more minutes and still no one showed up, so we decided to leave. I'm sorry, but this is way out of the way for us to get too, and I'm not scheduling another trip just to find nobody home. I can't gage the wine, the farm however was scenic. Too bad, the wine list looked interesting.

Loved this place. Owners were super friendly. Definately off the beaten path but worth the stop.
