Really enjoyed this winery. Is a beautiful facility, and would make a great wedding venue, or for other special occasions. Even though we showed up near closing time, the staff were more than willing to provide the tasting, and were polite and helpful the entire time...and they ended up staying open a bit later because of our visit. Being from Kansas, I haven't ever had muscadine wine, but found most of these very enjoyable.

Not one of our favorite stops. The winery is quite large, and appears to be more of a wedding facility than winery. The wines were not that good - the 2 dry white blends were rather tasteless, the Cab over oaked. The only standout was a Riesling and it was just O.K. The staff seemed disinterested and rushed everyone through the tasting, although they did give good information on the blends and terroirs of the grapes for each wine. Overall just an average stop, but I won't go out of my way to come back - you might see it differently!
