This winery has a really nice atmosphere, and nice tasting room. Gotta love a fireplace for tasting wine!!! Honey Mead was the only one I had tried, but several topped it.

The Schuchter's are great folks, and made my wife and I feel at home. The tasting trays are large and well marked, and the waitress knew the wines well. The grounds are split by Hwy. 22, but it's relaxing in the tasting room. The wines are excellent, and there's something there for every taste. This is a must visit if your in the area!

I dont agree with the resturant vs. winery at all...i had a wonderful tour of the wine cellar and enjoyed a sampling of wines in the tasting room. Very enjoyable winery, great staff

I agree, this is more restaurant... nice ambiance - fun to go and cook your steak outside on the big grill. No frills.

More restaurant than winery. Wines inconsistent, but reds are above average. Loire style Cabernet Reserve.
