Favorite Wine: nothing stood out

A commercial feel with a rushed tasting. The wines were average, nothing struck us as special. The grounds are well taken care of and the tasting counter is classy. Our attendant acted as if she would rather be anywhere else but work, and was basically reading a script for the description of the wines. All in all an O.K. time, I wouldn't take them off a list of places to go.

Favorite Wine: Tropical Temptation

Stopped here to give a second chance. Our first trip was not a good one, felt we were treated poorly. This time was very different. Glad we stopped!!

We have taken a bus tour (50 people) to Raven's Glenn as one of our many stops for the last four years. The first three years the winery would have received high marks. Our October 2010 trip, however, was a very negative experience. The service was slow, the food was cold, customers were asked to wait for clean glasses, when no clean glasses were available water was served in used wine glasses after our meal, the wine tasting area was too crowded to serve customers, the discount our group was promised in the gift shop was not honored. When we alerted management to our concerns, appropriate follow through was not conducted. Businesses can have a bad day. Not acknowledging such and not doing what is necessary to retain customers is unacceptable. We will not return.

Favorite Wine: Syrah

We Finlay made it down the Ravens Glenn and it was worth the drive The Syrah was the best by far. So were a few others. Ended up buying a case So we must have liked something. They food was great too! and inexpensive. WE ate right on the water it was wonderful and can't wait to return in a few months with some friends

Favorite Wine: Too many

Ok I have a lot to say about this place, we rather enjoy the smaller family owned type wineries, not the big tourist type places, ( like this place) because of the more quite, personal type setting, and because in most cases the price's are not elevated. With that being said, we didn't mind taking a case home from here, the "wine tasting tours" were set up very well and the girl that took care of us was very personable ( Jess I think ) the prices are a little steep but in most cases justified. For a tourist trap this is one of the best.
