Stopped here again to give it another try. Prices are ridiculously high! We were not allowed to do a tasting ($2 each!) because it was after 5. Did not want to spend $7 for a glass not knowing if we would like it or not.

The wines here tend more to the dry - I like that but sweet wine drinkers might be disappointed. The grounds are fantastic and the surroundings quiet and relaxing. Our server was very pleasant and knew the wines well.

Nice setting in the middle of the vineyard, very friendly service, the Pinot Gris is gorgeous.

Favorite Wine: St. Vincent, Fute di Chene & Pinot Noir!

This is by far one of the best Wineries in Ohio! It is more for the real Wine lovers! Not for beginners! Unless you have a more sophistcated palate! The Wines are made in a European Style! They have something for every one! Rieslings and Gewurtraminer's are done like a good Alsace! Not too dry but definately not sweet! They have delcious French tarts & cheese plates to enjoy with the Wines! It is a small French Chalet theme and you can sit outside on the deck or out under the Tent which in the heat of August is the best seat, with a lovely breeze that passes thru! If you like large crowded places this isn't for you! It is very quiet and even romantic! Stop in and say hi to Patty, Adolf & wes the winemaker. It is a very unique Winery!
