Favorite Wine: 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon
Chatham Hill Winery appreciates all constructive feedback and looks to learn in all instances. I would like to correct lovewine79 in that we do NOT bring in grapes from "all over t he country." At one time we did bring grapes in from Virginia and California, but currently the majority of Chatham Hill Wines are made from grapes that are brought directly to our winery at harvest from the state of North Carolina. Chatham Hill Winery attempts to source all wine grapes locally and has strong collaborative partnerships with growers in the area of the Yadkin Valley.

Favorite Wine: Cab Franc-yum!!
I am not sure why someone felt so inclined to give such negative unconstructive feedback… If anything it compelled me and a group of my friends to see what the fuss was about, especially since the word around town is that this is a cool and trendy new type of winery. Upon pulling up to the winery, yes it is in a unique setting. However, I would think that if they built an actual vineyard in this location/climate, the quality of grapes might not be as good. Being able to select their grapes from all over the country allows them to have a better quality product. Once we walked in, we felt as though we had stepped out of the middle of the RTP and into a winery… especially that barrel room in the back, how cool! And the art gallery, way to support local artists! As for the wines, I appreciate that they cater to different palates. News flash – WE ARE IN THE SOUTH… Sweet wines are appreciated by many in this region, so we will just let everyone be entitled to their own taste preferences! I do prefer a dryer wine, especially their reds, the Cab Franc is by far my favorite. My friends and I had a wonderful experience and would suggest to everyone who takes the time to read these comments, to experience the uniqueness of Chatham Hill and make your own judgment. Cheers!

I dont know if there is a more ugly hateful winery and staff around! First off, stop telling your customers that your wines are fruit infused! Its glorified kit wines, adult coolaid! Idiots! P.S. Nice Strip Mall!

Good NC wine. Did not like their fruits wines. The workers could be alittle more friendly.

We were greeted personally by a smiling, knowledgeable staff member and treated to a wonderful tasting at this unique urban winery! Plan to have my rehearsal dinner here.

Favorite Wine: Cab if I had to pick a wine. None of their fruit wines!
RUDE!! Not a very friendly enviroment. Several friends have tried this winery with the same response. They do not have a vineyard and get really touchy when you ask about it. Chatham Hill is in an office complex????

Discovered Chatham Hill Wine at a tasting at Beaufort, NC. The wine is hard to find in my area. Their Voigner and Riesling are scrumptious. I am not a sweet wine drinker but would recommend the above. Great with a stronger flavored cheese.
