I kind of got the same impression as others - more interested in the bistro than the wine counter, and our server acted like the 8 people there were beneath her level of wine understanding. Also a lot of emphasis on how they "exclusively" have the best grape growers in the region tied into contracts for their wines. Mentioned it 3 or 4 times. BFD - grow all your own, not just some of them. The wines were only average anyway. Other than that we had an O.K. time, and I won't suggest you stay away (quite the contrary - I think you should try all the wineries). They just won't be at the top of my list on my next trip to the lakes.

Great host, only winery that encourages drinking water between winerys, good for them.

depending on who is pouring, staff can be really fun or really snobby. delicious sweet wines. blue newt white is a must try.
