Favorite Wine: Marechal Foch

One of our favorite Nebraska Wineries! It is difficult to choose only one favorite wine. They make 14 or more varieties, all very tasty!!

Favorite Wine: 07 Frontenac

Terrific winery, with good dry reds. Enjoy a cheese plate outside in the shade and a glass or two of the Frontenac. They have older vintages and also make sweet wines for those with tastes not coincident with mine. The dry whites are also very capable.

Enjoying a bottle of Edelweiss we picked up at Super Saver in Lincoln. I need to plan another trip to Brownville to visit the winery. I haven't been there in years and I think a trip this spring would be beautiful!

We had a wonderful girls day out visiting Whiskey Run Creek. When we got there, it looked like no one was there but Bob showed up quickly and invited us in. He was very gracious: sharing its history, showing us pictures and allowing us to stay and enjoy wine and snacks while he went into town! It was a very relaxing day and this is my favorite winery by far. Check out their wines at Hy-Vee Spirits.
