We had my brothers wedding here on 9-13-14. First of all, the staff was all very rude, including the owner Kelly. Also, there was a dog running around during the ceremony, all over the brides dress, and through the crowd. We were under the impression we had the whole place to ourselves only to find out there was a drunken 40th birthday party there also. The owner had told all of us we had the place until at least 11 but when 9:15 rolled around we caught her and her employees throwing our stuff out of the room where the bridal party got ready. When asked what was going on she got irate and told my brother she was calling the cops. My brother had also purchased 2 cases (24 bottles) of wine and a keg of beer only to find out the bar was charging the guests for the alcohol. The bathrooms were disgusting and smelled horrible. When the cops showed up it scared my niece and nephews as they were scared my brother and sister in law were going to jail. After all was said we cleaned up all the wedding decorations, loaded up, and headed out. I will never go back to this venue.

Favorite Wine: Norton

Located just off of Hwy 50, this little winery has a commanding view of the surrounding hillsides. Staff were busy preparing for a wedding, a birthday party, and operating their winery but they continued to take care of everyone. The Norton at the tasting bar had been opened for three weeks and had a brown hue to it. Unfortunately, I'm almost becoming accustomed to being served turned wine, so I ordered a glass out of a fresh bottle to really taste it. Big and smooth, with nice tannins. I picked up a bottle to drink out of Reidel glasses for an even better experience.

Favorite Wine: Damifino

The operation has definitely improved, and they have a great selection of wines. The location offers a nice patio and deck area for entertainment. Great location to catch a sunset and good conversation with the owner and staff.

Favorite Wine: Chambourcin

Loved everything about this winery! The people were fantastic and knowledgeable, the wines were a delight (LOVE the Chambourcin here) and the atmosphere - was perfect! Not a huge selection, but what was there was great!

Favorite Wine: Tre'belle

Not a huge selection, but some good ones nonetheless. The tasting was done out of plastic shots instead of actual wine glasses, but the man running the place was excited about his product and seemed to know what he was talking about.
