Cweeeet Wine Haven for those who like such. Here you find the full gamut of sugary muscadine and fruit wines. I went for trying their one Norton grape wine ($28 Dread Head Red) and found it also blended with a 'bit' of red muscadine. The red muscadine grapes were local and the Norton grapes came from a nearby winery in Ellijay, GA. Though unique for the attempt to use a failed red muscadine harvest, the blend wine score resulted in a bland, uncharacteristic Norton wine.

Favorite Wine: all too sweet for me

finally got to visit a Georgia winery on the way to Florida. Large well appointed tasting room, lots of knick knacks and a friendly staff. A little pushy on the "health benefits of organic wine" (not sure I've had a non-organic wine!). All the wines were sweet, including the supposed "so dry most people don't like it" red blend. Overall an O.K. winery, just not a fan of the sweetness. I suggest you stop and try for yourself - it breaks up a long trip nicely.
