Really nice visit on a really busy day. Wines are all muscadine/scuppernong, and are sweet (sorry, even the "dries"). Friendly folks - they even let us bring our cat in (in his cage). Don't pass this one up!

Favorite Wine: Blanc du Bois and Sunblush

I have been to vineyards and wineries and Florida has othing to envy. Lakeridge is a beautiful winery located on a hill facing a lake, dont miss the sunset over the lake. We loved the Blanc du Bois and Sunblush wines they are very delicious and have a light fruity crisp finish. They also have hybrid varieties and smooth reds. These natural insecticide free muscadine grapes have been used for centuries in Florida, they are different sweet and high in antioxidants. Come and check for yourself.

Nice tour and tasting experience. Not alot of places to hang out, so just plan on a tour, a tasting, gift shop and move on.

We went to a grape stomp a few years ago. Beautiful scenery and fun festival. The tour/tasting was lacking but they had to keep pace for a lot of people.

It's all in who your tour guide is. Some all more knowledgeable than the others. Store is nice and has a lot of items all about wine and the food it goes with. Wasn't too pricey.

Favorite Wine: Southern Red, Southern White

This was my first experience with wine and wineries, I dropped in coming off the turn pike I think in 2004. I had a really great tour and watched a video then tasted my first wine. I came home with a case of Southern Red and Southern White. At home I descovered that the White tasted way too sweet to me and that the Red was not to sweet. So I gave the White away as gifts and kept 2 bottles for sipping on... Happy enjoyable 1st experiance for a wine virgin....
