I don't give 2nd reviews of wineries, but this time I have too. We stopped at Keel & Curley on our way to the Orlando airport to fly home. I made a special arrangement in time just for this stop because we had enjoyed this winery several years ago and really wanted to spend some time there (see prior review). What a disappointment! You wouldn't even know it's a winery except for the back wall having some racks of wine. All the signage and the push from the staff was for the brewery. And the staff - they were hurried and uninterested in customers, just slinging beer. I guess the old saying is true - you can't ever go back! I certainly won't be going back to Keel & Curley.

Favorite Wine: Key Lime

The tasting room was nice, wine and beer. The staff was not helpful, they were not interested in any sort of interaction with questions we had. This winery certainly did not have the feel of pride in the wine that I look for.

Favorite Wine: Key Lime, Dry Blueberry

We were traveling through Florida, and wanted to visit this winery. We stopped in at 5:55 in the evevning and were told they closed at 6 p.m. However, they were setting up for a private party that started at 7, and there was another couple finishing a tasting, so we were told to sit and enjoy. The girl serving the wine was very pleasant and fun, and took her time even though she was "off the clock". The wines are very interesting - mostly Muscadines infused with fruit or blueberry varieties. I wish we had more time on our visit - I would have liked to take a glass out on the deck and just watch the wildlife on the lake. Very much fun - we plan to visit again!

fun place with the interesting focus on blueberries - haven't been there for any festivals (yet)
