Henscratch Farms Vineyard and Winery

This was a planned trip while on the way to Sebring, and from the website I wasn't sure what to expect (more petting farm than winery). Boy was I wrong! I loved the open air "cracker style" building and the chickens running about. The wines were also excellent! All are made with Muscadine and Scuppernong grapes (except for several fruit wines). And the range of dry to sweet is surprising - the dry's are very good. The owners were offering the tastings and were very pleasant and passionate about their wines. We stroll the grounds for a while afterwards taking pictures and just enjoying a pleasant day. And yes - this is on the itinerary for my next Florida visit!

Favorite Wine: none, don't drink muscadine wine

loved this winery, you can feed the hens and they have lots of birds as well. They are growing fruits and vegetables hydroponically. The are great strawberry milkshakes are great!

A very cozy atmosphere. The vinters are very hospitable. We got a nice feeling of being on the farm.
