This was our first stop on the second day of wine tasting in AZ. Not disappointed here at all. A large tasting bar with great people. Kathleen was our pouring person that morning. Good wines and moderatly priced. Made good copy for my wine blog. The outside was great place to sip and enjoy. I regret that we didn't because it was early and even no where was it 5:00. I really like the Hibiscus flower with the sparkling wine. A real different taste for sure.

Favorite Wine: Sunset
I live in Tucson and decided to visit the southern wineries, this was my second favorite place. I really like sweeter wines and Sonoita and Elgin have the best.

We were down for an area wine tasting and liked this winery, the food pairing wasn't the best but the wine was good. We like the variety and the staff was nice enough

Nice people and Fran was wonderful to visit with. No rush and a wonderful place to picnic.

I have been visiting the Wine Country for 10 years and Sonoita Vineyards and Elgin are my favorite as they make sweeter wines. They have gotten better each year with the new winemaker Fran making the wine. We love Arizona Wines!

Nothing here screams "drink me" but we've generally found the whites to be more dependable than the reds (although the reds have been on the rise for the past couple of years). Sonoita and Callaghan are on our must-visit list when we're in the area; we give the extended middle digit to Village of Elgin as we drive by.

Both the Village of Elgin and Kief-Joshua suggested we visit them, after the dismal start to the day this was a nice finish. Strongly recommend this one, Elgin and Kief-Joshua.

In our 5th year to AZ we found this to be our third favorite place. Elgin Winery and the guy in Vail at Charron Vineyards. Beautiful views and great wines. Keep it up!

While visiting family in Phoenix we decided to go the the Arizona "Wine Country". I live in California in the real Wine Country and had to see for myself what Arizona Wine was about. This was the next winery after our stop at the Village of Elgin, their wines are good, but it is hard to follow the Elgin Monkey Cab (our favorite). The views here are breathtaking, very different from what we see in Napa, but really clam and peaceful.

I always stop here when I am visiting wineries in Arizona. They were the last ones we saw, so we were nearly wined out. Wines and views were nice. They are the oldest and have a really nice observation deck.

Our final winery. The oldest in the area. We had excellent tasting suggestions from the owner of the Elgin Winery. All the wines he suggested were excellent. He nailed our tastes. The Pinot is very good, strongly recommended. Very nice to end the day on a good note after the horrible experience we had at Rancho Rossa.

We are old hacks at this wine tasting game, that being said, we decided to branch out from our native California to try the Southwest. A beautiful setting, superb Cabernet. The winery is the largest building in the area, but fits in nicely with the landscape. We spoke with the winemaker Fran, nice guy reminded us of the great experience we had with Gary at the Village of Elgin WInery. They had problems with their vineyards and brought in som fruit from other areas, but the wines were quite good.

Favorite Wine: Cabernet Sauvignon
Really nice Cab, grown in CA but nice wine. The other reds were not as complex nor forward. The older wines were not worth the asking price.
